We are officially settled and farming in the Eastern Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The weather has been wonderful and we love the new farm. Local farmers have been very helpful and nice to work with. The barns are full of high quality timothy hay. We have shipped 5 semi loads south already!
The hay season ended quite abruptly mid-August, which is normal for up here.
As you can see the kids are in their normal summer attire of “dirty”! The house is very well suited to us, and we’ve hosted a few guests already. In August a friend brought us some Indiana sweet corn, which is good because it is just now ripe up here! It has been amazing how God has continued to reassure us that we are where He wants us. We are anticipating a closing date soon! (But then we have since we moved in!)
